What Happens When I Purchased My Cats A Self Cleaning Litter Box

I despise cleaning the kitty box. When we got my cat my son swore that he would care for the kitty and scoop the litter box. But you know how that goes. He never did wind up taking care of this kitty. I took care of this cat. And then he came home with another kitty. So then I was focusing on 2 cats. Eventually following the cat came along I decided I'd splurge on a few of those self-cleaning litterboxes therefore that I wouldn't have to scoop cat buys anymore. Well I spent $200 on a top of the lineup self-cleaning cat Litterbox for our cats and that is exactly what happened:

Litterbox

As soon as I brought the box home and set it up I left the litter boxes that the way they were if the cats did not want to make use of the brand new litter box because I did not want them going on to the ground. One cat cautiously entered the self-cleaning litterbox through the top entry. The litterbox started clean up after him while he was still going. He had been panicked by the noise that the cleaning mechanism made despite the fact that it said it had been a silent mechanism. He jumped out of the box, still pooping, and conducted down the whole upstairs hall trailing poop. I had been convinced that I just had wasted $200 and made more work for myself.

Once I spend a hour cleaning up the hall way and then massaging the rugs I went to check the litterbox again. Cat number two jumped from the box also used it. Once more the noise started however, this kitty was not amazed by the sound. Cat number-two sauntered outside from the box with no care in the whole world and also the box clicked into lifetime and raked through the box cleaning out it.

Within the following two days I kept a close watch on most of the boxes. I never saw feline number-three use the self cleaning box. Not once. Cat number two took to it right away and has used it with no problems ever since. Cat number one sometimes uses it but still prefers the regular boxes using routine scooping litter. So I spent $200 to get an extra clutter box which just 1 cat uses and that I still have to scoop out litter boxes every day.

Less Expensive

In the long run I presume that pets, such as children, are not predictable and their experiences and personalities could determine if they like the things they are likely to enjoy or maybe not. I really don't know why only one of my cats uses the self cleaning box which I paid plenty of money for. But hopefully the other two will figure out how to use it someday. I won't get rid of this because I am stubborn and I am not likely to throw away that kind of money. However, if I needed it to do over again I definitely would have purchased a less expensive self cleaning box or merely stuck for the regular boxes with regular clumping litter.
